The South Florida Water Management District’s (SFWMD) contractors will resume work on improvements to the Townsend Canal and Townsend Canal Grade.
The work is expected to commence Monday, March 27, 2023, with an anticipated completion time of 2-3 months.
There will be lane closures and changing of travel lanes on Townsend Canal Grade throughout the duration of the project.
Residents and motorists should use extra caution when traveling through the work zone.
Please note that this schedule is tentative and subject to change. SFWMD and Hendry County will notify the public of any schedule changes.
