USPIS offers $50,000 reward for information leading to arrest

MIAMI, FL- The U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) is offering a reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to the arrests and convictions of the individuals responsible for the Armed Robbery of a U.S. Post Office.

On Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at approximately 6:30 a.m., four armed black males entered the Immokalee Post Office located at 810 N. 15th Street in Immokalee, FL and announced a robbery. After ordering the postal employees to lay on the ground they fled with cash taken from the Post Office.

Armed robbery of a U.S. Post Office or postal employee is a violation of Title 18, U.S. Code, Section 2114, and is punishable by a prison term of up to 25 years.

Anyone with information should contact the U.S. Postal Inspection Service at 877-876-2455.

The suspects should be considered armed and dangerous, and the public should not take any action to apprehend these individuals.
