OKEECHOBEE —Two Indiantown men were killed Friday in collision with a semi-truck on State Road 710 on Sept. 8.
On Sept. 8 at approximately 5:15 p.m., a sedan driven by a 26-year-old Indiantown man was travelling north on State Road 710 approximately 4.8 miles south of County Road 714 (Martin Highway). A semi-truck was travelling south at the same time and place when, for unknown reasons, the sedan driver lost control and drove into the oncoming traffic, colliding with the semi-truck.
Both the driver and his 26-year-old passenger were killed. The 55-year-old man driving the semi sustained minor injuries.
