OKEECHOBEE — The Republican Club of Lake Okeechobee has lots of exciting events planned for June in Okeechobee.
On Sunday, June 12, Voters of Precinct 8 will have the opportunity to meet the new congressional candidate Jennifer Raybon along with Mayor Dowling Watford, county commissioners, District 1 School Board candidate Leslie Maynor, newly elected Republican Executive Committee Secretary and Precinct 8 Leader Kimberly Fisher.
This event will take place near the pier at Clif Betts Jr. Lakeside Recreation Area (commonly known as Lock 7).
Voters will be able to ask candidates valuable questions that may help decide who they choose to vote for while enjoying free hot dogs, chips and a beverage furnished by the Republican Club of Lake Okeechobee.
The Republican Club will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, June 14, Flag Day, at 11 a.m. at Lakeside Grill located at 1111 S. Parrot Ave. in Okeechobee.
