MOORE HAVEN - Amanda Lowman’s kindergarten class at Moore Haven Elementary School read “I Can Be President Too” and then discussed what qualities they have and what they would do that would make them a good president. The students partnered up and created a “VOTE FOR US” poster where they illustrated qualities they have and things they would do as president. They had to present their posters to their class and the class voted. Piper Palladino and Aubree Collazzo were elected as President and Vice President. As President and VP they were given the “power” to make classroom decisions for the day.
In January, Lowman was selected as Glades County Teacher of the Year.
