The Annual Smoke Under the Oaks Rib and Chili Fest was held on Saturday, January 14 at Barron Park. For the second year in a row first place was taken by Two Men and a Pig (Erubiel and Estella Gonzalez and Tony Aguilar) with their home made seasoning rub and spritz using live oak and hickory wood.
Second place went to the husband and wife duo of Second Hand Smoke (Tommy and Shawna Saxon).
And third place was awarded to Bobby’s Bangin’ Bob-B-Que (Bobby Sarazen senior pit master and his cook team Adam Crittenden, and Jason Rine) featuring their gluten free barbecue sauces and rub.
The sold out crowd was entertained by Sheriff Whidden and the Posse.
