IMMOKALEE – A pedestrian was struck and killed near State Road 29 in Collier County on March 25 around 10 p.m.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol report, a 54-year-old Port St. Lucie man was driving a tractor-trailer south on SR 29, approaching Farmworker Way.
A 28-year-old Immokalee man was walking south in the travel lane on SR 29.
The right front of the vehicle hit the pedestrian, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
