PBSO reminds everyone to move over for stopped law enforcement

Posted

WEST PALM BEACH — Palm Beach County law enforcement reminds all motorists to move over, when they can safely do so, for stopped law enforcement, emergency, sanitation, utility service vehicles, road ranger and tow trucks or wreckers. If you can’t move over — or when on a two-lane road — slow to a speed that is 20 mph less than the posted speed limit.

A motorist that violates this law could face a fine of at least $120 and 3 points on their driving record.
