At approximately 9:07 p.m. on May 16, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) deputies responded to shots fired in the 300 block of Southwest Sixth Street in Belle Glade.

BELLE GLADE — At approximately 9:07 p.m. on May 16, Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office (PBSO) deputies responded to shots fired in the 300 block of Southwest Sixth Street in Belle Glade. Upon arrival, deputies located a 41-year-old man deceased from a gunshot wound(s); two other males ages 46 and 58 were located suffering from gunshot wound(s) and transported to local hospitals. The 46-year-old man succumbed to his injuries while being treated in the Emergency Room. The 58 year-old man remains in critical condition.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division arrived on scene to investigate this shooting as a homicide/attempted homicide.
The motive and suspect information is unknown at this time.
No names will be released to inaction of Marsy’s Law.
