ORTONA – The Ortona Lock and Dam will have a width restriction of 25 feet until further notice. Vessels over 25 feet will be required to contact the lock one hour prior to arrival to arrange passage to insure minimal operation of a failing sector gate. Crews are currently assessing the situation. No estimated time of repair currently available.
The South Florida Operations Office advises all vessels to monitor the Jacksonville District website for any changes or updates. For more information, contact Bill Keeney at 863- 368-9086.
