OKEECHOBEE- Okeechobee is set to host the 2025 Diamond Youth Baseball Division I T-Ball, AA, AAA, and Ozone State Tournament at the Okeechobee County Sports Complex July 3 through July 6 2025.
Opening Ceremonies will begin at 6 p.m. on July 3 and will be held at Okeechobee County Sports Complex, Field 1. Spectators will be able to view ceremonies from the bleachers and fence lines. Each team will be announced along with their coaches and manager
Games start on the morning of July 4. Okeechobee T-Ball plays their first game on July 5 at 9 a.m., they’ll face the winner of the July 4 game between Frostproof and San Antonio. Okeechobee will first play in the Coach Pitch tournament on July 4 at 11 a.m. on field 3., AAA tournament at 11 a.m. on July 4 on field 1, and Ozone on July 4 at 11 a.m. on field 2.
The concession stand will be running with a full menu every day of the tournament. The concession stand will only accept Cash and Cash App for the duration of the tournament. There will also be specialty vendors/food trucks throughout the weekend.
Gates open at 9 a.m. on Friday July 4. A gate fee of $11 will be assessed for Friday and Saturday for everyone. A gate fee of $10 will be charged on Sunday. Children ages 6 & under are free. A “Tournament Pass” valid for all days of the tournament will be available for purchase on Thursday for $30 (the only time to purchase the Tournament Pass will be on Thursday, July 3, 2025). Gate fees are cash only.
The Okeechobee Citizens Recreational Association (OCRA) is asking for the local community to come out and support the teams as they have been working hard to prepare for this tournament.
