The Raiders competion began with a 5K Run, followed by the Rope Bridge, in which competetors have to string a rope between two large poles, lift each other onto it and attempt to pull themselves across the rope hanging from beneath it, without letting their feet touch the ground.
The Rope Bridge was followed by the Kettle Ball Run which included sprinting back and forth carrying kettle balls. That was followed by the Tire Flip event.
The competition ended with CCR (Cross Country Rescue) in which each team had to run 1 mile carrying a military grade stretcher weighted with a 120 pound object to simulate a casualty.
During the competition many participants faced exhaustion and a few minor inuries but they refused to give up!
While the OHS team did not place on Saturday, team member Aiden Davis said they will be gearing up for practice all week so they can work on their weaknesses and do better in the next competition.
