OKEECHOBEE — The family of Okeechobee City Police Officer Jason Chapman was recognized at the Oct. 17 city council meeting. Officer Chapman was killed in a car accident while off duty. The city of Okeechobee presented the family with a shadow box containing pictures, patches, his gun and badge and other items. Rest in peace officer Chapman and thank you for your service to our community.
