Looking for something to do this summer while social distancing and staying at home? Now is the perfect time to get your GED or learn English in the comfort of your own home.
ITECH is enrolling now for the GED and English classes summer session which starts June 9 and continues until July 28. Both classes will be delivered online. Students will have access to a variety of computer based programs as well as virtual instruction by iTECH teachers on the Collier County Public Schools’ distance learning platform, Canvas.
Take the advice of iTECH’s ELL teacher, Maria Leyva, “If you are planning to do something new and fun this summer, register in our ELL online summer classes. Don’t give up on your goals even when faced by challenges that seem impossible. During our virtual classes, we will do a variety of interactive and multilevel activities that will keep you engaged and motivated while learning English. Join us on this new experience!”
It is easy to enroll. For GED the first step is to email Mr. Brad Myers, the GED teacher, with your name and contact number at MyersB1@collierschools.com. For English go to the iTECH website at http://www.itech.edu/student-services/ and click the ELL/GED Application tab to register. Summer tuition is $30 and may be paid with a credit card. If you have any questions or would like more information, email antonimi@collierschools.com or call 239-377-9923.
