MOORE HAVEN — On Friday, April 28, sixth graders at Moore Haven Middle High School competed in the school 4-H speech contest. The following students will be advancing to the District Competition which will be held on May 16, at 4 p.m. at the Doyle Conner Building. The winners were: First place - Emmanuel Rodriguez with “Why Vegans Shouldn’t Drink Water”, second place - Ben Austin with “The Pacific Northwest Tree Octopus”, and third place - Desire Black with “CheerSurge”. Congratulations to all of the sixth grade students for participating in the contest. You all did a wonderful job and your school is so very proud of you!
