Judge swears in granddaughter after election

OKEECHOBEE — Judge Bill Wallace was called upon to swear in his granddaughter Kira Murphy as class secretary at Okeechobee Christian Academy last week. 

"I’m not sure who enjoyed today more…. my father getting to swear in his granddaughter, my daughter getting sworn in by her grandfather, or me getting to witness it all," said Chelsea Wallace.

The judge also swore in Reagan Hickman as president, Jaxon Olalde as vice-president, Jalyn Martinez as chaplain and Gabriella Rounds as treasurer.
