Helen Louise Brumitt, age 78, born December 29, 1946 and passed away to her Heavenly home May 17, 2025.
Helen was born in Maplewood, Missouri to Joseph and Edna Ernst. She married Carl Brumitt and moved to Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri where they raised their son Mark. After the passing of Carl, Helen later married Gene Hood in Springfield, Missouri and they retired to Florida. She was active in her church, community and had many friends in Missouri and Florida. Helen's love and joy were her grandson Joseph, Family, Church and Friends.
Helen is survived by her husband Gene Hood, son Mark Brumitt and grandson Joseph Brumitt, her brother Don Ernst and family Jennifer Wright, Jessica Weick and Jonathan Ernst.
Memorial Service will be held June 28th at 11am at Christ Fellowship.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local charity in Helen’s honor, continuing her mission of spreading kindness and hope. She will be deeply missed.
