Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida recently hosted the fourth annual Rock the Noc family festival at Camp Nocatee where more than 150 Girl Scouts, their families and the community enjoyed an afternoon filled with music, art and self-expression.
Guests explored the scenic grounds of Camp Nocatee, participating in a variety of adventurous and creative outdoor activities, including archery, hatchet throwing, slingshots, hiking, campfire s'mores, carnival-style games and crafts providing fun for all ages.
The Rock the Noc grand finale featured a live performance by Parkland, Florida based girl-powered band of sisters, Midnight3, who energized the crowd with their dynamic music on the steps of the Camp Nocatee’s Founder’s Hall.
"Rock the Noc brings families together to celebrate friendship and adventure and at the same time fosters creativity and community engagement," said Lisa Johnson, CEO of Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida. "At Camp Nocatee, you can explore all the reasons why we love the outdoors. It’s a special place."
