OKEECHOBEE- Five Okeechobee High School Brahman football players have been selected to compete in an All-Star game this month.
Seniors Ni’Marion Bryant, Carriss Johns, Vincent Cantalini, Santana Alvarez and Juan Aguirre will all represent Okeechobee at the Treasure Coast vs Palm Beach County All-Star game on Jan. 13. The Brahmans had three other players who earned honorable mentions for the game, including Jazari Corde, Tyrone Hayes and Christian Requina.

Okeechobee finished the season with a 6-4 record, the team’s best since 2016. The Brahman defense held Okeechobee’s first three opponents scoreless while the offense racked up 141 points in the same three-game timespan.
Bryant and Johns were previously named All-District players this season. Bryant earned All-District quarterback honors while Johns was named All-District runningback.
Bryant had 14 rushing touchdowns, 750 yards on the ground and over 500 yards passing this season. While Johns had 6 rushing touchdowns and 600 yards on the ground. Johns had three games of over 100 yards rushing this season for Okeechobee.
The Treasure Coast vs Palm Beach County All-Star kicks off at 6 p.m. on Jan. 13 at Jupiter High School
