Five arrested on narcotics charges

In the early morning hours of Tuesday May 15, 2018, Hendry County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and Special Response Team served a search warrant at 612 Bridle Way LaBelle FL. Once inside the residents Narcotic’s Investigators located Audencio Ramos, 26 years old, 25 year old Roxanna Mendoza, Jose Ramos, 19 years of age, 18 year old Ramon Santos Jr. and Benjamin Nieves, 18 years of age. Although these subjects occupied three different rooms inside the residence, deputies found illegal narcotics, firearms and U.S. currency in every room.

In addition to the home, deputies searched the three vehicles in the yard where they seized more narcotics as well as the vehicles.

In all Deputies seized:

$3,507.00 US Dollars

281.5 grams of Marijuana, with a street value of $18,265.00

7.5 grams of Cocaine Street value of $375.00

9-unprescribed Xanax pills street value of $134.00

4-Rifles and 2-Handguns (1 confirmed stolen out of Palm Bay) and

Numerous suspected stolen televisions, laptops and other electronic items and power tools. (Still being processed and investigated)

All individuals were arrested and transported to the Hendry County Jail. All of them were arrested and charged with, Possession of Harmful New Legend Drug Without Prescription, Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell, 1,000 ft of Park, Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Sell Within 1,000 ft of Park, Possession of Control Substance Without a Prescription, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana Under 20 rams, Possession of Drug Equipment, Possession of Drug Equipment to Transport Drugs.

Audencio Ramos had additional charges of Grand Theft of Firearm and Operating a Drug House and Ramon Santos, Jr. has been charged additionally with the Widman Act and is being held on no bond.

Audencio Ramos was released on May 16, 2018 on $55,500 bond; Roxanna Mendoza was released on May 16, 2018 on $50,500 bond.

Jose Ramos was released on May 16, 2018 on $126,000 bond.

Benjamin Nieves is currently being held on $126,500 bond.
