CLEWISTON -- A Clewiston resident was injured Aug. 11 when the dump truck he was driving overturned on U.S. 27.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol Report, the accident occured at 11:14 a.m.
A 57-year-old Clewiston man was driving the truck east on U.S. 27 in the outside lane, when he apparently lost control of the vehicle. The dump truck rotated and overturned, spilling its load onto the eastbound lane and the median. The driver was transported by Hendry County EMS to Hendry Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
