OKEECHOBEE — After reportedly knocking over items in Winn Dixie, Brian Senna, 36, was found digging in a trash can on the side of the building. Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Deputy Jamie Knapp attempted to speak with the man but said he became very fidgety and avoided eye contact. He then reportedly tried to flee, but Knapp was able to grab the back of his shirt and bring him to the ground.

Deputies reported finding a scale, a prescription bottle containing Xanax bars which were not prescribed to Senna, a small baggie containing methamphetamine and a small plastic straw.

Senna was charged with possession of a schedule I drug, possession of a schedule II drug, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest without violence. Bond was set at $11,000.
