Cowboys heading to Regionals

On Friday, March 15, the LHS Boys Weightlifting team traveled to Lemon Bay High School for District competition. They represented well, finishing third as a team. Individuals that move on to Regional competition are:
119: Hector Zuniga, second and Angel Sorcia third
139: Jaime Deras Jr.- Champion, Yovanni Roblero fourth place

183: Ezekiel Moreno, third place
238: Christopher Sarabia-Champion Broke LHS School record in bench press with 320 pounds and combined weight lifted of 590 pounds.
UNL: Lionel Solis Champion
Regional Competition is March 30 at LaBelle High School. Lifting will begin at 12:00 p.m. Admission is $7. The Cowboys will like to thank their sponsors that helped our program be successful: LaBelle CPA, and Caloosa Custom Cabinets!
