BELLE GLADE — The Belle Glade Chamber of Commerce held it awards banquet on Monday, Feb. 12, in the gym at the First Baptist Church. The theme for this year’s banquet was “The Black & Gold Ball.”
The chamber is pleased to honor the citizen, Agri-Industrial, Deputy, Firefighter, GEO Corrections Officer, Palm Beach State Impact And Community Pride recipients of the year.
The 2023 winners:
• Community Pride Award recipient is Belle Glade City Commissioner Zayteck Marin.
• Belle Glade Firefighter of the Year recipient is Jesse Lezcano.
• PBSC Belle Glade Campus Impact Award recipient is Jernae Thomas.
• Belle Glade Palm Beach Sheriff’s Deputy of the year is Deputy Micah Thomas.
• GEO Correctional and Rehabilitation Facility Officer of the Year is Joyce Clark-Mann.
• Ag-Agribusiness Man of the Year is Stewart Stein.
• Citizen of the Year is Keith Wedgworth
