4-H winners will be moving on to Districts in Highlands County

The Okeechobee County 4-H Events were held on Monday, April 11. Below are the winners and they will be moving onto Districts in Highland County.

The following kids placed first in 4-H Events:
• Cooper Wherrell and Olivia Wherrell placed first in the Junior Division of the Public Speaking competition.

• Hannah Kate Johns and Raelyn Hartman placed first in the Intermediate Division of the Public Speaking competition.
• Rocco Cohen placed first with a trumpet instrumental in the Intermediate Division of the Share the Fun - Trumpet Instrumental competition.
• Reese Cohen, Alyssa Cortez and Emily Hilderbrand placed first in the Senior Division of the Share the fun – Silly Skit competition.
• Ryleigh Carter placed first in the Senior Division of the Illustrated Talk competition.
• Kathryn Montes De Oca placed first in the Intermediate Division of the Public Speaking competition.
