OKEECHOBEE — On Monday, April 28, South Elementary School presented its winners of the 4-H Public Speaking Contest. For fourth grade the winners were Kylen Menendez in first, Emmy Underwood in second, and Lily Bishop in third. For fifth grade the winners were Cara Burk for first, Chase Gammons for second, and Cassidy Garelick for third. First place in each grade will move on to the district competition.
