OKEECHOBEE – The Darrel Enfinger Sports Complex Pool on N.W. 27th Lane will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the following dates:

• March 11-17 for Spring Break;  
• March 23 to May 26 on Saturdays and Sundays;
• May 27 through Aug 1, Wednesday through Sunday, for Summer Break. The pool will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

General admission is $4 per person. Lap swimming is $3 per person.

Children under age 3 are admitted free accompanied by an adult swimmer. Babies must wear a swim diaper. (Swim diapers are sold at the pool for $2.)

From June 13 to Aug. 1, Thursdays will be Family Swim Nights for $3 per person.

June 4 through Oct. 31, Water Exercise classes will be 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for  $3 per person.

Discount rates area available for groups of more than 15 people.

Private pool parties may be scheduled outside regular pool hours.

Work on the splash pad continues. The county recreation department has not yet announced the opening date for the splash pad.
