The 2025 Best of the Lake Awards were held on May 1 at the Okeechobee KOA.
Businesses from around Lake Okeechobee who earned the most votes from the community were recognized.
Ashton Rogers was recognized as the Person of the Year. Jay Walpole earned the Red Larson Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Agriculture Community.
