The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).
- Jubay Ridore, 18, Northeast 168th Street, was arrested April 30 by OCSO Deputy David Rogers and charged with battery/detainee on detainee. Bond was set at $5,000.
- Michael Hughes, 42, Southeast 21st Court, was arrested April 30 by OCSO Deputy Todd Addington and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. Bond was set at $6,000.
- Merilen Velesquez Garay, 46, Southwest 355th Street, was arrested April 29 by ONTF and charged with possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.
- Jordany Diaz, 23, at large, was arrested April 29 by ONTF and charged with possession of cocaine, tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $11,000.
- Brian Benefield, 48, U.S. 441 Southeast, was arrested April 29 by OCSO Deputy Vincent Peterpaul and charged with possession of fentanyl and two counts Possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $11,000.
- Albert Lindsley Jr., 60, Indiantown, was arrested April 30 by ONTF and charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $6,000.
- Paula Vaughn was arrested May 1 and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
- Eric Anselmo, 30, Southwest Second Way, was arrested May 3 by OCSO Deputy Vincent Peterpaul and charged with disorderly conduct and making threats to another. Bond was set at $10,500.
- Alex Felix Perez was arrested May 5 and charged with criminal mischief, possession of drug paraphernalia, hinder communication with law enforcement and domestic battery by strangulation.
- Colton Armstrong was arrested May 6 and charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription.
- Earle Snow was arrested May 6 and charged with possession of cannabis resin, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license.
