Okeechobee Arrest Report

The following individuals were arrested on felony or driving under the influence (DUI) charges by the Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), the Okeechobee City Police Department (OCPD), the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), the Department of Corrections (DOC) or the Okeechobee Narcotics Task Force (ONTF).

  • Jonathan Torres, 31, Fort Pierce, was arrested May 15, 2024, by Martin County Sheriff’s Office, and a Notice to Appear was issued in Okeechobee County for Mental Health Court on April 2, 2025. He was charged with battery on a health care worker.
  • Jeffrey Lee was arrested April 2 and charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling and possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Justin Smith, 32, West Palm Beach, was arrested April 3 by OCSO Deputy Anthony Hull and charged with battery, hindering contact with law enforcement, false imprisonment and child abuse. Bond was set at $43,500.
  • Aldo Caruso, 27, Northwest 242nd Street, was arrested April 1 by OCSO Deputy Isabel Jean and charged with two counts battery and one count battery on a person 65 years old or older. Bond was set at $12,000.
  • David Kasik, 67, Jupiter, was arrested April 3 by OCPD Detective Brandi Drapal and charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of a child under the age of 12. Bond was set at $1,000,000.
  • Timothy Burke, 50, Northeast 40th Avenue, was arrested April 4 by OCSO Deputy Noah Jones and charged with possession of methamphetamine. Bond was set at $5,000.
  • Ryan Tiger, 32, Northeast 11th Street, was arrested April 6 by OCPD Detective Brandi Drapel and charged with possession of a weapon or ammunition by a convicted felon. Bond was set at $20,000.
  • Timothy Courson was arrested April 4 and charged with making a written threat to kill.
  • Alan Campos, 18, Northwest 32nd Avenue, was arrested March 25 by OCSO Deputy Alejandra Esquivel and charged with DUI. Bond was set at $1,000.
