OCSO hosts Citizens Academy

OKEECHOBEE -- Registration is open for the inaugural Okeechobee County Sheriff’s Office Citizens Academy.

This 9-week in-depth program invites citizens of Okeechobee County to learn about daily operations, tools, technology, training, and experience real-life scenarios to better understand Law Enforcement and what we do to protect our communities. Come see what we do! Food and drinks will be provided at every class.
 
Every Thursday evening, from 5:30 until 8 p.m., classes begin Sept. 4, 2025, and graduation will take place on Oct. 30, 2025.
 
If you or a loved one has an interest in law enforcement, this is a perfect program to take part in to further your knowledge of the Sheriff’s Office operations.
