OKEECHOBEE -- According to information released by Florida Highway Patrol, a two-vehicle accident on U.S. 441 approaching the intersection on SR-68 resulted in the death of a man driving a silver Jeep.
The report states the man driving the jeep failed to stop at the intersection and collided with the front end of a tractor trailer hauling sod. The Jeep driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The accident occurred at approximately 12:30 p.m.
