OKEECHOBEE — Congratulations to Lieutenant Heath Hughes on his graduation from FBI National Academy at Quantico.
The FBI National Academy is a program within the Federal Bureau of Investigation's Academy for active U.S. Law Enforcement, as well as International Law Enforcement who seek to enhance their credentials in their respective field, as well as raise law enforcement standards, and gain knowledge and cooperation worldwide.
The FBI National Academy is held four times per year, when up to 250 candidates are chosen to attend the 10-week rigorous course. More than just a premier law enforcement leadership program, the FBI National Academy is a transformative experience that challenges, educates, and connects professionals from around the globe. Sharpening leadership skills, advancing investigative and physical training, and gaining a deeper knowledge and understanding of law enforcement at every level.
Above all, the relationships built, friendships and professional bonds forged along the way, during these ten weeks create a lasting network of trust, collaboration, and support that will continue throughout the careers and lives of each graduate.
We are proud of Lieutenant Hughes for stepping up to this challenging and rigorous training, and we welcome him back to his home agency and look forward to all the knowledge and training he will bring with him.
