ROME, GA -- Berry College recently announced its newest class of graduates for 2025.
Hailey Greeson, of Okeechobee, earned a BS degree in Biology.
Berry celebrated two milestones at commencement May 10: the retirement of President Steve Briggs after nearly two decades of leadership and the class of 2025, the largest in the college's history. Approximately 550 undergraduate students received their diplomas
Briggs, who has served as the college's eighth president since 2006, delivered the keynote address. As a passionate advocate for higher education, Briggs has guided Berry with a commitment to its mission of educating the head, heart, and hands. His tenure is marked by a focus on academic exploration, hands-on experience, and a deep investment in students' personal and professional growth.
Students who began their college journey in the fall of 2021 amidst the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, showcase the resilience and spirit that Berry strives to foster. This year's graduating class has achieved a wide range of accomplishments, with majors in areas such as animal science, exercise science, nursing, psychology, biology and communication.
