Christina Smiley wins prestigious award

Congratulations to Christina Smiley, a graduate student in Musicology, on receiving the prestigious Howard Mayer Brown Fellowship from the American Musicological Society 2025-26. This highly competitive award is given to students who showcase academic excellence and promise in the field of music scholarship.  

Smiley was raised in Okeechobee and home educated by her mother Jeanna Smiley.
