MERRITT ISLAND — On Saturday, April 26, the Chobee Smashers competed in the Softball Life Tournament at Merritt Island. They had a busy weekend, getting to the fields at 6:45 a.m. and finishing their days at 10 p.m., putting in 15 hours daily! Saturday was full of a bunch of strikeouts, double plays, crazy jumps, lots of screaming, backing each other up, lots of amazing hits and ultimately ending the day as tournament champions in the gold bracket. Congratulations Smashers! [Photos courtesy Bianca Romero]
