One Blood  is proud to announce that Okeechobee will be a prime blood donation site the whole month of March. 

Whether you are a “morning” or “afternoon” donor, they will be happy to not just “see you” but recognize that you are determined to continue to donate and save lives.  

Back in 2005 there WAS a One Blood, but they didn’t come to Okeechobee.   It was later learned that very few blood donors came to “the bus” when it did get here, because there was no regularity in One Blood’s schedule.

A few people got together and “pushed” One Blood to come on a regular schedule, saying that until it comes regularly people don’t even know it exists.  

A regular schedule was formed and Okeechobee blood donations kept growing.  Today Okeechobee is the largest donor area in the state of Florida.  Come celebrate with us as we continue to build an even larger group of blood donors.

• Saturday, March 8: Seminole Cove, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Saturday & Sunday March 8 & 9: Speckled Perch Festival in Flagler Park, 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

• Friday, March 14: Big O RV Resort: 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

• Saturday, March 15: KOA, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Saturday & Sunday, March 15 & 16: Brennan Eye Care 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Platelets  only.

• Wednesday, March 19: Winn Dixie 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

• Thursday, March 20: Ancient Oaks 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

• Thursday, March 20: Wawa Gas

• Friday, March 21; Publix, Noon – 5:30 p.m.

• Firday, March 28, Zaxby’sm 11:30 – 5:30 p.m.

• Saturday, March 29 and Sunday, March 30: Brennan Eye Care 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.,  Platelets  only.
