OKEECHOBEE — A 72-year-old man was killed on U.S. 98 after the Chevy Silverado pickup he was driving swerved into oncoming traffic and struck a Ford F-350. He was transported to Raulerson Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The other driver, a 24-year-old man, sustained minor injuries.
According to the FHP, The Chevy pickup was headed southeast on U.S. 98 just east of Northwest 80th Avenue. The accident took place at approximately 6:10 p.m. on Dec. 20.
