Waste Connections commits 35 bikes

Posted
Submitted photo/Emily Hunter

Every year Waste Connections collect donations to purchase and build bikes for their community partners interested in enriching the lives of children in our community through fun and responsibility.

This year in LaBelle, Waste Connections committed 35 bikes to various groups including the Toy for Tots organization via Hendry County Commissioner Darrel Harris, County Commissioner Byrd for her outreach programs in the Harlem/Clewiston communities and County Commissioner Mitchell Wills and Christ Central Church.

Waste Connections will continue their efforts to reach community partners through acts of giving for years to come.

Thank you to Zay Louis and District Manager Kenny Rees along with the 21 employees at Labelle Hauling who are very important in assuring bikes are purchased and given to the communities in which they work.”
