I want people to know that Dish TV is trying to make me pay them $400 if I change companies.
I told them that I wanted better movies. All I get are reruns and advertisements, about 5 minutes of movies then 21 advertisements. I get about 20 minutes of movies total.
The woman asked me if I would pay $400 if I quit. Not thinking, I said “yes.” I was not awake and I am totally disabled. I didn’t mean to say “yes.” Now they say I have to, I signed a contract. They don’t want anyone to leave their company.
To me, this is blackmail. I don’t have much money as I am on disability. Is there anything I can do?
