LABELLE — Firehouse Community Theatre Inc., 241 N. Bridge St., will be hosting a Christmas sing-a-long to benefit Toys for Tots on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 7 p.m. Admission is $10 or an unwrapped toy of equal value.
HENDRY COUNTY — Wreaths Across America will meet at the following local cemeteries for a ceremony and to lay wreaths on the graves of veterans. In Clewiston on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 10 a.m. there will be a ceremony, followed by laying wreaths on veteran graves at Ridgelawn Cemetery, 520 Ridgelawn St., moving to Harlem Gardens afterwards, 2550 11th St.; and Washington Memorial, 1225 Della Tobias. In LaBelle on Saturday, Dec. 17 there is no ceremony but laying wreaths at the Ft. Denaud Cemetery, 1170 Cemetery Road at 1 p.m.
LABELLE — The LaBelle Christmas Boat Parade, hosted by East Coast Marine, will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 21. Departure time is 7 p.m. and begins at Barron Park, 1559 De Soto Ave. The parade will be lead by the Hendry County Sheriff’s Department. All interested boaters/skippers contact the East Coast Marine at 721 N. Bridge St., by phone at 863-674-1680, or by email at nellie4898@gmail.com. There will be first, second and third place prices for decorated boats.
