Ave Maria Development announces a line-up of free events open to the public this season. Visitors and residents are invited to enjoy free trolley tours every Tuesday and Thursday from 11:00 am to 2:00 p.m. in the Town Center from now until March 31. Tour Collier County’s Community of the Year during a complimentary 45-minute trolley ride through tow and discover all that’s new for 2020. Tours depart every 45 minutes and reservations are encouraged, but not required, and can be made by calling 239-352-3903. Ave Maria Town Center hosts live music every Thursday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Bands rotate weekly.
Ave Maria Arts & Crafts Festivals will he held four times this season- Jan 14-16, February 11-13, March 10-12, and March 28-29. These popular festivals feature several styles of art on display including oils and acrylics, photography, pottery, sculpture, jewelry and more. The arts and crafts festivals are produced in conjunction with TNT Events, organizer of dozens of art festivals throughout Florida with a focus on hand-crafted original works.
Farmers Markets are open to the public and are held every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Ave Maria Town Center through April. These outdoor markets feature several different vendors which may include fresh locally grown produce and citrus, fresh seafood, Italian breads, local honey, soaps, candles, oils, jewelry, crafts, flowers, hats, handbags, clothing and more. The market will be held in conjunction with SW Florida Markets, LLC.
