Recently, students at LaBelle Middle School’s ESE class hosted a visit with reptiles. Daniela and Quinton Clawson brought their pet ball pythons, “Draco” and “Kahlua”, along with a bearded dragon known as “Soup”, to share with the students, and talk about responsible pet ownership and safety around a variety of animals. Ball pythons are also known as the royal python, as Queen Cleopatra of Egypt was believed to have worn them as jewelry! Actual live snake bracelets and necklaces! “Soup” the bearded dragon entertained the class as he very enthusiastically ate live meal worms! It was a day they all will remember fondly.
