CLEWISTON — Clewiston Middle School’s Tiger Band was invited to receive donated instruments from the Holly Jolly event hosted by the Palm Beach Symphony. CMS had some great student leaders representing them at the event: Secretary Jake Velazquez, Vice President Obday Garcia, President Easton Henry, and Aaron Zetino. Aaron was also awarded a brand new Eastman trigger trombone to have as his own personal instrument. CMS is so appreciative of the symphony donating to the band program so the students can have instruments to play on. CMS is fortunate for all the people who have supported them and the extremely excited to get started on instruments in beginning band! CMS thanks Bryce Seliger for being the coordinator and providing this opportunity, and a special thanks to their own Mr. Barnes for driving out to West Palm Beach to pick the instruments up and bring them back. What a great day to be in the CMS Tiger Band. (Photos courtesy Clewiston Middle School)
