HENDRY COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS NOTICE OF ATTORNEY-CLIENT SESSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hendry County Board of County Commissioners will hold an attorney-client session pursuant to Florida Statute 286.011(8) on June 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, at the Clewiston City Hall, Commission Chambers, 115 W. Ventura Avenue, Clewiston, Florida, to discuss settlement negotiations and strategy related to litigation expenditures in the case of Alico, Inc. and E.R. Jhana Industries, Inc. v. Hendry County, Hendry County Case No. 2025-CA-23 and 2025-CA-24. Persons in attendance will be Commissioner Emma J. Byrd, Commissioner Emory Howard, Commissioner Michael Atkinson, Commissioner Ramon Iglesias, Commissioner Mitchell Wills, County Administrator Jennifer Davis, County D. Matthew Raulerson, and court reporter Liz Barnes or one of her agents. Only the convening and adjourning of the meeting will be open to the public. The discussion of settlement negotiations and strategy related to litigation expenditures will be conducted in private, in accordance with State law. The attorney/client session is closed to the public. The entire session shall be recorded by a certified court reporter and the transcript shall be filed with the Clerk for the Board.
