CITY OF OKEECHOBEE PUBLIC NOTICE CONSIDERATION OF ADOPTING A CITY ORDINANCE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Okeechobee will conduct a Public Hearing on May 20, 2025, 6 PM, or as soon thereafter possible, at City Hall, 55 SE 3rd AVE, Okeechobee, FL, to consider final reading for adoption of the following Ordinance into law (No. 1308): AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE, FLORIDA; AMENDING THE CITY OF OKEECHOBEE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, ORDINANCE NO. 635 AS AMENDED, BY REVISING THE FUTURE LAND USE MAP ON A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN FROM SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL TO MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL, APPLICATION NO. 25-004-SSA; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION OF ORDINANCE AND REVISED FUTURE LAND USE MAP IN THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICT; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
